A dental bridge is designed to "bridge" the gap created by one or more missing teeth. It typically consists of two or more crowns for the teeth on either side of the gap (called abutment teeth) and a false tooth (or teeth) in between. These false teeth, called pontics, can be made from gold, alloys, porcelain, or a combination of materials.
Dental Crowns are caps placed over a damaged tooth. They can be used to restore a tooth’s shape, size, strength, and appearance after it has been severely damaged or decayed. Crowns can be made from metals, porcelain-fused-to-metal, resin, or ceramic.
